Space for What Wants to Be Written

Some ideas need more than another hour squeezed into an already full day. They need quiet, atmosphere, and uninterrupted room to emerge. The Inner Room offers a private setting for beginning a manuscript, completing a project, planning a body of work, working remotely, or spending a restorative weekend with your own thoughts.

Rest. Read. Write. Wander.

Focused Work

A calm environment for writing, planning, reading, and creative projects.

Restorative Rest

A private space designed for slower mornings, quiet evenings, and genuine rest.

Books and Inspiration

Thoughtfully selected books and intentional details invite reflection and new ideas.

Colorado Outside the Door

Nearby walking, running, and biking routes make it easy to move between focused indoor time and the surrounding landscape.

Quietly Connected to Colorado Springs

The Inner Room is located in a peaceful residential setting near neighborhood open spaces, parks, cafés, local shops, restaurants, entertainment, and an abundance of walking, running, biking, and mountain trails. Guests can enjoy a quiet place to retreat without feeling disconnected from the city. The suite is also within reach of Colorado Springs mountain experiences and a nearby outdoor amphitheater.

Your Private Entrance

Guests have private access to the designated lower-level suite through a separate exterior entrance. The suite is closed off from the main residential portion of the home. Please note that reaching the private entrance currently requires a short walk across the lawn rather than a paved pathway. Ground conditions may vary with rain, snow, or ice, so appropriate footwear is recommended.

Curated with Intention

The Inner Room was curated by Amber Turner, an author, editor, and the creative force behind MILAW — Manifest It Like a Woman. Her work explores the relationship between environment, creativity, presence, and the way we intentionally shape our lives.

The suite brings that philosophy into physical form through books, thoughtful design, quiet, and atmosphere. It was created as more than a place to sleep: it is a private setting where writers, creatives, and thoughtful travelers can rest, gather their ideas, and reconnect with what matters.
